While they do have a service that allows you to build your list, everyone who has upgraded there account can also email your list. So the sign ups you struggle to get, will be receiving emails from all the upgraded members which works out to 50 to 100 day. Because of this people don’t read the emails, which means they won’t be reading yours. They also offer a $197 upgrade, which lets you email 5000 every 2 days. But like I said no one reads the emails.
The next program is nothing short of a over hyped credit based safelist. List Joe says they will help you build your list, but all members get to email all other members. This is not how list building is supposed to work. You can of course refer people to be put in your list. But again every other member gets to email them to. And of course this program will also let you upgrade your membership for $197. I wonder if the same guy runs both sites?
Now for building your list using an online service I would strongly recommend MyHugeList. This program actually helps you. First off, this is a viral email list building program. Everyone you refer gets put in your list, and then they help you build your list, everyone they refer gets put in your list and so on, down to 10 levels. Every person in the program only receive emails from there upline and nobody’s lupine can ever be more than 10 people, so you will only receive 2 to 3 emails a day. And because you only receive 2 to 3 emails a day people actually notice them and read them. They also offer free software to everyone, this is a nice bribe to get people to join your list. This is a free program, they do have a option to upgrade to PRO membership for $6 a month. Thats a lot different than $197.
Now if you would like to start emailing people immediately you should use a program called MoneyListPro. There memberships start at $3 and you can start emailing people as soon as you join. They also allow you to put your advertising banners and contextual text ads on there website.

If you decide to build a list yourself, first you need to figure out what you are going to need to start getting people to sign up for your list. For starters you will need an auto responder, this sends your emails out as soon as someone signs up. You will need to obtain web hosting and your own website, and you will need a give away to use as a bribe to get people to sign up.
Don’t forget email marketing is one of the most important factors to consider when building your online business. With out an opt in email list, you probably wont succeed online.
